Student Leadership at Parkside

At Parkside, we believe leadership starts early - and everyone has something valuable to contribute.

Student jobs are offered twice a year:

  • Fall Session: October to January

  • Spring Session: February to June

These roles give students the chance to lead by example, support their peers, and build a strong sense of community. They take ownership of responsibilities within the school, develop key life skills, and contribute to a positive school environment.

Peer-to-Peer Training

At the end of each session, current job holders train the next group of student employees. This process helps reinforce lessons about responsibility, leadership, and teamwork.

The Application Process

Students are selected for roles through an application process. Those chosen have expressed a desire to give back to the Parkside community and grow as leaders.

Through these experiences, students gain valuable life lessons in responsibility, communication, and problem-solving - all skills rooted in the 7 Habits we practice here at Parkside.
